The Sangeet Natak Academy Uttar Pradesh, in collaboration with Anunaad School of Music, organized a program on the occasion of India’s Independence Day in 2022 with the aim to celebrate and promote the rich cultural heritage of India, fostering unity and harmony among its diverse communities and also to showcase the diverse cultural heritage of India by bringing together various art forms, music genres, and dance styles representing different regions and traditions of the country. Aim was to emphasize the beauty of India’s unity amidst its diverse cultures and languages through the medium of performing arts, highlighting the essence of inclusivity and mutual respect. Also to pay tribute to the struggles and sacrifices made by freedom fighters and showcase how the arts played a crucial role in India’s journey towards independence.
The program aimed to create an atmosphere of celebration and reverence for India’s cultural diversity while highlighting the shared heritage that unites the nation. Through Music, Dance, the event strived to evoke a sense of pride, inclusivity, and unity among all participants and attendees, celebrating the essence of India’s cultural mosaic.
